Looks and feels solid and well made, but it won't charge anything I've tried. HTC android phone, husband's iphone, and a motorola...none will show charging icon. If it is plugged into the usb port of the computer, with the output cable running to my phone, it shows charging. Therefore I don't think it's a charging cable issue because it transmits until I unplug it from the computer. I've charged overnight twice hooked to the computer, but no luck. Looks nice, but I guess it's going back.
