The assembly was not hard, just time consuming. I completed 90% of it on my own, with just a little help near the end.

We are actually using this for a pantry cabinet, because we wanted something that wouldn't be an eye-sore in the dining room. This works perfectly for that purpose. The door operates smoothly and the doored area has the dividers that make organizing the pantry a much easier job. I just put in some shelves in the back of the areas I am using for cans and I can see the contents much better, since it is so deep.

We did buy extra felt pieces for the bottom to ensure it doesn't scratch our wood floor as we weren't sure the ones it came with would be adequate. I do like that it came with the marker to fix any blemishes. We didn't have any upon shipment, but with a house full of kids, I am sure we will at some point.

I bought this armoire to use for storing kids art supplies, my craft supplies and assorted homeschool items. The assembly took a reasonable amount of time. The finished product looks really very nice. I don't think it "looks" too much like an "assemble it yourself" storage unit. The amount of usable space for storage is ample and the adjustable shelves make it very versatile. The finish is a lovely, deep espresso color. The sleek, matte-finish hardware handles add some sophistication to the appearance. Overall, I think this is a quality product for a very reasonable price.

A couple of dents and scratches, 2 hours to build and thought it would be taller and more sturdy. It still worked out and looks nice. I used the marker it came with to hide the 2 dents in 2 corners and minor scratches. I am content with the way it looks in my space. Paid 200 dollars for it, think it should have went for 150 at the very most.
